Turkey is high in protein, low in fat and makes a nice change from chicken and you don’t need to wait until Christmas to eat it. These home made turkey burgers are easy to prepare and use just a few ingredients.
You’ll need the following:
500g Turkey mince
2 garlic cloves
Handful of spring onions
1 green pepper
Salt and pepper
2 tablespoons Worcester sauce
In a food processor, combine the ginger, garlic, spring onions and green pepper.
Add this mixture to the turkey mince, add salt and pepper and mix all of this together.
Form burgers from the mixture, I use a cookie cutter to get a nice round shape then flatten slightly.
Put the burgers under the grill and cook for about 8 mins each side. Check that the burgers are full cooked through before serving.
I served mine with cauliflower mash, carrots and peas.
