Last week was mostly a legs workout

I worked the legs last week at the gym, week number four since I’ve been back training.

Climbing the stairs back up to the office was fun afterwards!

Working the legs is a great way of burning fat. You’re working the largest muscle group in the body and it doesn’t need to be complicated. Squats and lunges, with or without weight will have the heart pumping in no time and you’ll continue to burn calories long after the workout has finished.

I try and end my sessions with some leg work, this week it happened to be leg press. I manged to add extra weight and squeeze out a couple of extra reps on Friday.

My workout this week was as follows:

Leg Curl

Leg Extension

Assisted Pull Up

Back Bridge (to strengthen my back)

Dumbell Chest Press

Dumbell Squat

Leg Press

I performed 3 sets of the leg extension and leg curls. Then the rest was two sets, back to back with minimal rest. Maximum was one minute between sets to keep heart rate up.
