It’s that time of year again. Time to undo the excesses of Christmas. The time of year when the gyms are rammed full until at least February and you can’t get on a bench or treadmill for love nor money.
However, you don’t need to hit the gym to burn fat, in fact, you can do a great fat burning workout in your own home with very little equipment.
As a busy dad, I find these workouts great. When I can’t get to the gym I can cram these get a workout in between putting the kids to bed and cooking dinner, and still burn fat. I just make sure to keep the intensity up. It’s got to be 10 minutes of sheer hell.
15 Minute Fat Burning Workout
This workout is 45 seconds of work followed by 15 seconds of rest. Once you run through all of the exercises once that’s one set rest for 1 minute. Repeat 3 times.
Bent Over Row
I use a Gym Boss timer for these types of workouts. It means I can forget looking at the stopwatch and just listen for the beeps. While you can buy one there’s also a free app for both iPhone and Android devices. So I set my tablet up and just hit the start button.
